Loving thrillers the way I do, I went with a friend to see the suspenseful movie “The Commuter” with Liam Neeson. Without giving away too much of the plot and a full movie review, I’ll just say that I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

A woman approaches Mr. Neeson’s character and asks him a “hypothetical” question. What would you do if someone asked you to just do “one little thing.” No questions asked. If you do it you will get $75,000. Just like that. The whole movie is based on his response to that question. Guess you’ll just have to see it to find out what happened!

How many of us would take the bait? Would we risk our reputation, our integrity and our safety to do it? Are we that tempted by money?

I would like to think that I would turn it down. No matter how desperate I may be, no matter how tempted, I know that I already have the prize – I have all the riches I need. Yeshua gave His life for me, I have eternal life because of His sacrifice. And that is worth all the money in the world!
